Compassion International, Inc.

The Sidney Club renewed a venture from the past - sponsoring a child overseas.  Compassion International, Inc. was chosen because Ollie Anthony and her husband, Bob sponsor a child through them and highly recommended this organization.

This sponsorship provides the child with education, vocational programs, healthcare, key life skills, and the development of self-confidence.

Our child resides in Burkina Faso in West Africa. This is ranked as one of the poorest countries in the world with a high illiteracy rate, with several thousand people migrating to Ghana in search of paid employment.

Didier, age 12, is one of three children residing in a home with his mother and father.  He enjoys playing soccer and bicycle riding.

He has sent correspondence which has been answered.  If you would like to write a letter to Didier, please contact Kay Miller at emiller025@woh.rr.com or call her at 492-7877.
